Little ALIENS!

I made some Aliens for Halloween...Stick them somewhere just for fun!

I made a project like this a few years ago, I decided to remake it with a twist.

Supplies

You will need....

Scissors.

Light weight bendable wire. Pipe cleaners will work, they just might look a bit different.

Glue gun and sticks.

Some small glass rocks, not necessary.

Some yarn or string.

A small powerful magnet, not necessary.

A black pen or marker.

Step 1: Legs and Torso

Get a 15 to 18 inch piece of wire.

Bend it in half.

Make a loop in the middle and begin twisting it together to make the torso, about 2 inches long.

Branch off to make one leg, make a loop for the foot and twist back towards the torso. Wrap any extra wire around the troso.

Make a second leg with a loop at the end and twist back towards the torso. Wrap any extra wire around the torso.

Step 2: Arms

Get a 15 inch piece of wire.

Find the middle of the wire and wrap it around the torso, just below the loop where the head will go.

Make a loop at one end of the wire to make a hand and twist the wire back towards the torso.

Make a second loop at the end of the wire for the second hand and twist the wire back towards the torso.

Step 3: Eyes

On a white piece of paper draw your pupils.

If you have small glass stones, glue them over the pupils.

Putting clear hot glue over the pupils will also work.

Step 4: Glue the Eyes and Body

Place your Alien on a smooth flexible surface so the the Alien does not get stuck to your table as you add glue to the body!

Glue your eyes in place, put glue over the wire body.

Once you are done glueing, and the glue is cool, peel your Alien off the surface.

Next, add feet, make them extra wide so that your Alien can stand on its own.

Step 5: The Hair and or Magnet

Cut some yarn about an inch in length.

I made little tuffs of hair with the hot glue so that they were easier to glue on.

If you choose, add a magnet so that your Alien can stick to any metal surface.
