Step 1: Wrap Beads and Chain

Feed a single seed bead onto a length of copper wire so that the seed bead is in the middle of the wire. Wrap the wire around a hammered ring so that the seed bead lies flat on the surface of the ring. Wrap the wire once around each side of the seed bead, pulling the wire tightly. Feed the wire through the end of a 2 inch section of chain and wrap the wire around the ring. Add a seed bead to the wire and wrap once. Repeat, adding each section of chain in this order; 2 inch, 1.75 inch, 1.5 inch, 1.25 inch, 1 inch. Wrap a seed bead in between each chain section.

Step 2: Wrap the Beaded Flower Stem Onto the Ring

Place the beaded flower stem on the top of the ring above the chain sections as shown. The flower stem should be centered at the top of the ring with the chain fringe centered along the bottom of the ring. Note the placement of the flower stem and remove it. Continue wrapping seed beads up both sides of the ring until the you have covered the ring up to the point where the flower stem will lie. Place the flower stem on the ring and continue wrapping the wire around the flower stem and the ring. When the flower stem is secured to the ring tightly wrap the wire ends to the ring and trim the excess.

Step 3: Attach Ring to Ear Wire

Using your chain nose pliers open a jump ring. Fit the jump ring around the copper ring at the top middle point of the earring. Close securely. Use a second jump ring to attach the ear wire to the first jump ring.

Step 4: Repeat

Repeat steps 1-3 to make the second earring.
