If you are a long time mac user, or a newbie, these are the tricks that will keep you from doing two things; thinking that macs are boring and selling you computer on eBay. Or going insane after writing thirteen pages on TextEdit. And PC users, there is still time to repent, read on.(This is my first instructables, so if i make a mistake, like releasing a virus that destroys this website, please tell me.) Step 1: Youtube's Best Kept Secret

here is a cool trick: while your video is loading on youtube (And  any video embedded from youtube,) you can play an awesome snake game! Look at the loading icon, now press the up arrow key, you will notice a strange fact, it is not going in a circle, the picture is self explanatory. Arrow keys are controls.

Step 2: INTERNET!!!!!

Start your browsing with a laugh. Look at this website, NOW:  http://welcometointernet.org/ perfect for a homepage :) also perfect for annoying everyone in a 20 ft. vicinity, just keep pressing "reload".


This is a gem.

Step 3: Fun With Google

 Here are some cool google websites: http://www.funny-google.com/ Customize google! http://googlegooglegooglegoogle.com.br/  For  the multi tasker. http://www.google.com/pacman/ Good ol' google pac-man. http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=xx-klingon Google in klingon. http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=xx-piglatin Google in pig latin. The google company has a lot of spare time apparently.

Step 5: How to Download Video's From Youtube.

This is simple; Go int safari and pick your video. While it is playing, press command option A, pull down the menu and double click the biggest file. Usually the only one thats more than a mega bytes worth. And your good to go.(You will also probably need to change the application it runs on to VLC or quicktime.)

Step 6: Quick Mac Facts

here are some quick little facts to conclude this instructables.
  1. command+option+control+8  Reverses color, good for when your eyes get tired. Press the combination again to go back.
  2. command+option+control+.   Increase contrast, replace period with a comma to decrease contrast.
  3. You can put a cool looking flash that is activated every time there is an error into your computer by going to system preferences > universal access > hearing. just click the button.
  4. To make your keyboard sound like a type writer, do the same as before. Except go to keyboard instead of hearing. Turn slow keys on and make sure "use click key sounds" is checked. 
  5. Also in universal access is the ability to press a button that does the same thing as in command+option+control+8, it is in the "seeing" section and is in the "display" section of that.
