Step 2: Remove the Belt Tabs and Waistband

Cut out the waistband along the bottom edge.

Step 3: Cut Out the Pockets With a 5" Panel Below the Pocket and 1/2" Seam Allowance at the Top

Step 4: Cut 3/8" Fringe Below the Pockets

Step 5: Make Larger Fringe

Cut 12" panels from the legs and mark a 1/2" seam allowance at the top. Cut 3/8" fringe up to the seam allowance

Step 6: Sew the Waistband and Pockets to the Waistband

Lay out the fringe and pockets. I overlapped the fringe with the outer edge of the pocket by 2 inches. Sew everything together at the bottom edge of the waistband.

Step 7: Enjoy Your New Belt!

The back of this belt is just as stunning as the front. Be prepared for lots of compliments!
