Making Ear Wires for Earrings

Save money make your own ear wires for earrings. You will need:

20 guage wire
Round nose pliers
Flush cutters
Ruler or tape measure
Pen, mandrel, dowel, lipstick, mascara or marker for larger earwires.

Step 1: Cutting & Looping

Cut 5cm of wire,then form a loop using round nose pliers.

Step 2: Wrap the Wire

Next wrap the wire around a pen or object of your choice.

Take up the round nose again, bend the wire at the tip to give it a sort of flat look, make a second wire once finished hammer both if you wish. Now you are ready to attach to attach your earwires to your bead units.
