Introduction: Maple Creamee Cupcakes

Maple creamees are maple soft serve that you can only get in the northeastern US. They are amazing! And worth a trip for that alone :)
They have a subtle initial taste of maple, but the after taste is more prominent and leaves you wanting more. Maple creamees are light and fluffy and I cannot stress how delicious they are!!!

In this recipe I have tried to replicate a cupcake version of these frozen treats.

Ingredients:
1.5 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp. vanilla
.5 cup brown sugar
.25 cup olive oil
.33 cup maple syrup ***a little extra splash here doesn't hurt :)
.33 cup milk

Step 1: First Mixing

Preheat the oven to 350° F.

Combine the flour and the baking powder and gently mix with a rubber spatula.

Step 2: Second Mixing

Now add vanilla, eggs, brown sugar, olive oil, maple, and milk and mix with a rubber spatula just until everything looks gooey.

Step 3: Blending

Use a blender to mix up the batter more smoothly. If it looks a little thick, add a splash of milk and then blend it some more.

You are done blending after a minute or so, but make sure that you have plenty of little gooey bubbles that are slowly popping in your batter.

Step 4: Baking

All this batter should make about 12 cupcakes (granted you didn't go crazy with adding the extra splash of maple syrup)
Line your cupcake tin with cups and fill each cup about 3/4 of the way with batter. Bake in a preheated oven (350° F) for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

These would go awesomely with a fluffy vanilla walnut frosting..... to be continued.....

For now I will just mix together with a fork:

1/2 can of vanilla frosting
a splash of maple syrup
5 tbsp walnuts (that went through the food processor for about 15 seconds)
