Step 1: Need a Video or Print Instructions?

Would you like a video tutorial better? You can find one right here!

If you need printable instructions, we've got you covered too! Simply download the PDF files attached to this step for instructions in English or Spanish.

Tip: Pssst...Wanna know a secret? We are showing you how to make a S'Mores Pop Tart pillow in our tutorial...But our printed instructions will also show you how to make a jelly filled Pop Tart pillow as well! Check it out below!

Step 2: Making the Pop Tart Crust

For this step, you will need your two pieces of beige felt, as well as scissors and fabric glue or a hot glue gun. Now grab a piece of beige felt and let's get to work!

Cut a 1.5" border around the edge of the beige felt, following the edges of the entire rectangle. Connect the edges of the border together...Then repeat for the other piece of felt! These two pieces of beige felt will be the "crust" of our Pop Tart pillow.

Apply both pieces of beige felt on top of each other with the borders you just drew facing in, then glue the pieces of felt to each other along the edges using fabric glue or a hot glue gun and press along the edges for a nice bond.

Remember to leave one side open so you can stuff your pillow later!

After applying the glue to the edges, press them down to make a nice bond. And don't forget to keep that fourth side open for pillow stuffing later!

Step 3: Adding Frosting to the Pop Tart

Now let's grab your brown felt and make some frosting! For this step, we will also need scissors and fabric glue or hot glue.

Fold your brown felt in half, then use your scissors to cut and round off the square corners of the brown felt on the opposite side of the fold. Make sure not to cut the fold!

Don't worry about your cut lines being perfectly straight - this is an organic piece and frosting is organic, so it can be wavy!

Place your piece of brown frosting on top of the crust from the previous step then apply fabric glue or hot glue to the back of the frosting piece, one half at a time. Finally, press the frosting down for a nice glue up!

Step 4: Adding the Icing to the Pop Tart

Our Pop Tart is starting to look delicious - let's add some white felt icing to make it even better!

Grab your white felt, sketch out wavy lines on it and cut them out. Don't throw away the scraps! We'll use them later.

Lay out your wavy icing lines on top of the brown frosting: when you're happy with your layout, glue them in place with the fabric glue or hot glue!

Step 5: Add Wavy Edges and Fork Marks!

OK, let's give this pillow even more of a Pop Tart look!

Cut a wavy line along the edge of the pillow, or draw a wavy line around the edge of your pillow then cut along that line.

Tip: When you get to the side that is still open, use sewing pins to keep it in place so it doesn't move on you!

Touch up any areas that you feel might need a little more glue! Maybe cutting the wavy lines along the edges cut off some of the glue that held your pillow together, or maybe the glue didn't stick very well the first time around. Now is a good time to fix it!

Next, cut up small triangle pieces of white felt to mimic fork marks. Glue these "fork marks" along the edges of your Pop Tart crust. Straight lines work too! They're just small details to add to your Pop Tart pastry, so you have complete creative freedom!

Step 6: Time to Fill Up Your Pop Tart Pillow!

We're almost done - grab your bag of poly-fil! We will also need fabric glue or your hot glue gun.

Open your pillow - if you used pins earlier, take them out first! - and fill up that Pop Tart pillow with tons of stuffing. Make sure to push the filling into the corners! If you don't have stuffing, you can also just use a pillow of the same size.

Finally, line up the open edges of your pillow and glue them together into the final seam with fabric glue or hot glue. Make sure the filling is nicely tucked inside!

Step 7: You're Done!
