Bracelet finished length: 13 inches, adjustable
Earrings finished length: 3 inches

Step 1: Earrings: Pierce the Mylar Lacing

Loop one length of lacing so that one end is 1/3 inch past the other. Fold this longer length over as shown. Place this folded end into the piercing side of the Piercing/Setting tool and turn the handle to pierce the lacing through all three layers. Take care that you have folded the lacing precisely and hold it carefully while piercing.

Step 2: Earrings: Flare Rivet

Following manufacturers directions fit the Eyelet Flaring Set into the Piercing/Setting tool. Attach the Tool to your work surface with your Vise.

Step 3: Earrings: Flare Rivet

Using the beading awl, widen the holes you have made in the lacing. Refold the lacing and use the beading awl to fit a brass eyelet into the holes going through all three holes. Place a riveting accent on the end of the eyelet as shown. Fit the lacing, eyelet and accent into the Eyelet Flaring Tool and flare the eyelet.

Step 4: Earrings: Attach Ear Post

Thread the gold colored wire through the flared eyelet and create a wrapped loop using your round nose pliers. Fit a 2 mm spacer bead onto the wire and thread the remaining wire end through the loop on the turquoise ear post. Finish the wrapped loop and trim any excess wire. Repeat steps 1-4 to create the second earring.

Step 5: Bracelet: Pierce the Mylar Lacing

Fold over one end of the lacing 1/2 inch. Place this folded end into the piercing side of the Piercing/Setting tool and turn the handle to pierce the lacing through both layers. Take care that you have folded the lacing precisely and hold it carefully while piercing. Repeat on other end of the lacing.

Step 6: Bracelet: Flare Rivet

Following manufacturers directions fit the Eyelet Flaring Set into the Piercing/Setting tool. Attach the Tool to your work surface with your Vise.

Step 7: Bracelet: Flare Rivet

Using the beading awl, widen the holes you have made in the lacing. Refold the lacing and fit a brass eyelet through a crystal chain end and then through the doubled-over lacing. Add a riveting accent on the end of the rivet. Place the lacing, rivet, crystal end and accent into the Rivet Setting Tool and set the rivet. Repeat on the other end of the bracelet.

Note: the crystal ends must be riveted to the bracelet before the crystal chain is attached as the ends will not fit into the Rivet Setting Tool with the chain attached.

Step 8: Bracelet: Attach Extender Chain

Using your chain nose pliers open a 7 mm jump ring and feed it through the loop at the end of the mylar lacing. Attach the clasp and close securely. Repeat on the other end of the lacing to attach the extender chain.

Step 9: Bracelet: Attach Crystal Chain

Using your chain nose pliers crimp the rhinestone chain into one crystal end. Repeat at the other end of the bracelet.
