This Instructable shows how to create a paper gingerbread house! Papercrafts are some of my favorite things to make, and I was trying to think of some Christmas papercrafts...which resulted in this :)

Materials you'll need:

Cardstock/ heavy weight paper (you'll want to use paper that is strong)
Hot glue gun (you could probably use other types of glue, but hot glue works well because it's strong and holds together immediately)
The free house pattern here
White puffy paint
Anything you'd like to decorate the house with (other colors of paper, paper punches, scrapbooking stickers, pom poms and puffy paint are what I used)

Step 1: Build the House

Cut out the patterns, trace them onto the cardstock, and cut them out.

Unfortunately the footage and pictures of this part were lost. But, here's a written description: First off, be sure to score the fold lines by pressing hard with a pencil when you draw them. Fold on all the fold lines. Cut the windows out using either scissors with a sharp point or an Xacto knife. Glue the walls together by putting glue on the tabs. To put the roof on, it easiest to start by putting hot glue on the tab of one of the side walls, then put the roof in place. Lift up the other side of the roof, then quickly put glue on the rest of the tabs, and press the roof back down.

Step 2: Create "frosting"

Use the white puffy paint to create snow or frosting on the roof. I chose to create this half circle pattern on the roof.

Next, I added frosting to the corner of the house to cover the seams where the paper met.

Using white paper and shaped scissors, I cut trim for all sides of the roof, glued it on, then trimmed off the excess.

Step 3: Decorate the House

I used a large circle punch to create circles of different colors of paper. I cut these in half and placed them at the top of the roof, then used the whole circles on the rest of the roof.

At this point, just decorate with whatever supplies you'd like to use :)

The candy scrapbooking scissors are from Michaels.

I used a red Sharpie to create candy canes to use as trim for the windows and door.

I used large and small snowflake paper punches and to create the snowflakes.
