Simple easy to make flower made of paper strips

Step 1: Supplies

You will need,

1. Different shades of red and green paper strips

2. Glue

3. Quilling needle

Step 2: The Base

Start with rolling two strips of green paper into a circle of about 1/2 an inch in diameter. The circle should be tightly bound. Then push the centre out gently to create a dome shape as shown in the picture.

Step 3: The Petals

Now make the petals by rolling two pink strips into a circle. Let the circle unroll a little and then then stick the end. Pinch the opposite ends of the circle to give it a petal shape. you will need four of these petals

Step 4: Inside Petals

Make similar petals but this time in red paper strips and smaller than the pink ones.

Step 5: Stick the Flower Together

Stick one end of each petal in the concave side of the green dome. The bigger pink petals first...

Step 6: All the Petals

...the smaller red petals will go on top of the pink ones as shown in the picture.

Step 7: The Centre

Make another dome like the green one you had made earlier but this time with a dark red strip of paper and stick it at the centre of the flower over the red petals and its done.
