Step 2: Start
Remove the inner strands of the paracord.
Step 3: Inserting the Fishing Line
Cut 20 9 foot strands of fishing line if you are using two colors. 10 17 foot strings if you are using one. Feed them into the paracord sheath. If you are using two colors burn one colors end and fray the other. Insert the burnt end into the other one and singe that end. You can also secure this more with a knot.
Step 4: Starting the Weave
Pull the cords down through the clasp and the pull the ends through the loop. Then, pull the ends up through the other side of the buckle. Now you should bring the ends back through the original clasp side. Measure your wrist. Pass one end behind the base and over the other cord. Then pass the other cord through the loop.
Step 5: Adding the Split Rings
Take the split rings and string them onto the cord. Then make a weave making sure the rings are in the middle.
Step 6: Adding the Hooks
Put tape on the hook then wrap the tape all the way around the base. Go down a little and repeat.
Step 7: Finishing
Wrap the last three weaves lightly and pull the ends through the top. Flip it over and pull the strands through the loose weaves tighten the weaves. Snip and singe the ends and fill the clasp.
