Introduction: Payesh (kheer) Gluten Free

hello everyone, I'm back with my new instructable!!!

This time i am here with an another gluten free recipe, which is "kheer" or "payesh". which is basically a rice pudding from the cuisine of the Indian subcontinent and Iran. This is very healthy and delicious. This is basically an Indian sweet dish which is completely gluten free. It is served as a dessert. so, let's make it and enjoy together.

INGREDIENTS

(1 cup=250ml)

1 litre milk

1/4 cup rice

5 to 6 tablespoon sugar or as required

6 green cardamons- powdered

1 pinch saffron (kesar)

15 to 20 almonds-blanched and sliced

12 to 15 cashews

1 tbsp golden raisins

Step 1: LET'S MAKE IT

In a deep pan take milk. simmer it and add washed rice into it.

Add saffron to it.

Simmer over low flame, stirring occasionally till the rice is cooked and milk becomes thick.

When done add sugar, almonds, cashews, raisins and cardamons.

Stir till sugar gets dissolved properly.

Transfer into a serving dish and serve it.

You can serve it hot or chilled.
