Introduction: QUILLED CUP,SAUCER AND SPOON

What is quilling????

Quilling is the art of rolling narrow strips of paper into coils or scrolls, and arranging them to form elegant figures. In this project, you'll learn how to use a toothpick to roll coils and scrolls, then pinch, shape, and arrange them into decorative patterns. For this project we will need a lots of glue!!$

Materials Required:

1) Quilling papers of any two colours

2)Adhesive (Fevicol/elmer's glue)

3)Quilling Tool

4) Saucer

5)Patience

NOTE: Sorry for the bad image quality.

Step 1: MAKING THE QUILLED SAUCER

We first begin by making a small quilled tight circle, place it in the centre of the saucer.

Next make teardrops and place it around the tight circle,it gets a shape of a flower.

Now count the number of petals and make double quilled tight circle in an alternate colour sequence and stick it onto the petals.

Now again make tight circles in an alternate colour sequence and stick it onto the double quilled circle.

Now make teardrops in alternate colour sequence and stick it onto the tight circles.

After this we make quilled heart shapes in alternate colour sequence and stick it onto the latter step.

Now make quilled marquise shapes in alternate colour sequence and stick it in the gaps left between the heart shapes.

The last step is to fill the remaining gaps using your desired style that suits the best.

Now remove the quilled saucer from the real saucer carefully.

For any queries go through the photos.

Step 2: MAKING THE QUILLIED SPOON

The making of the the quilled spoon is very easy.

1. You first need to make four tear drops of alternate colours and stick it together as show in the picture.

2.Next you"ll need quilled small marquise of alternate colour sequenceto make the handle, try to keep the handle as short as possible so that it does not break off.

3. The last step to make the spoon is to make its head, we will be using a large quilled circle. To make the circle large we will need to quill in many strips of paper. But make sure that it doesn't get too heavy to avoid the spoon from breaking.

For any queries go through the photos.

Step 3: MAKING THE QUILLED CUP

This is one of the most complicated part of the whole instructable where even I went wrong at various steps.

So be careful while doing this part of the project.

1.First make one tight white circle and remaining ones should be tight pink circles and stick it around the white circle. Now make pink teardrops and stick it between the gaps of the latter step.

2. Make white teardrops and stick it in between the gaps of latter step .

3. Now make pink teardrops and stick it upside down .

4. Now take a single quilling strand and stick it on top of the teardrop pattern so that the base for the next step is leveled.

5. For this step we will need to make hollow circles of your desired colour and stick it on top of the leveled base.

6. Now make pink teardrops and stick it in between the gaps of the hollow circle.

7. For this step make double quilled tight circles and stick it onto the teardrops.

8. Now make the handle for the cup using tight cirles in an alternate colour sequence.

Bravo!!! This is the end of the making of the cup,
