Introduction: Replace Bulky Buckle on Paracord Bracelet.

This is a cool alternative to the bulky plastic buckles on all paracord bracelets I've seen, both online and in person. I used wire cutters to remove existing buckles from my bracelet (careful NOT to shear cord) and replaced it with the cool black, stainless-steel, low profile s-biner from Nite-Ize, I prefer the stainless steel but I also use the plastic s-biner. If starting a new project use the s-biner in place of the buckle and continue with your favorite braid technique. I think that in a true "survival" situation the stainless steel option may prove more useful than the plastic buckle. I will leave that up to the readers to offer their own views but I hope you agree. You may need a little help at first to put it on but I never take my bracelet off so it's not an issue for me. You can always ask your girlfriend to help you and make her a bracelet too. The picture "says" it all. I bought the s-biner at Auto-Zone and Academy Sports & Outdoors, of course also available online.
