Needed more chairs and mother-in-law was getting rid of some. Overview: unscrewing the cushions, pry off staples holding fabric on, careful to preserve cushioning underneath, make sure fabric is stretched evenly & flat, staple with upholstery stapler (making sure staples won't be visible), checking order of pieces to screw back together so that there aren't wrinkles in the fabric. Bonus: had some extra scraps so sewed them together into a piece large enough to recover an additional chair. Make sure it's stretched flat to reduce puckering from patchwork.
