Some cocktails are easy to make, but not everyone can have alcoholic drinks. This simple mocktail makes it easy for everyone at a party, formal or informal, to be included.

The classic drink you're about to make nails this competition. It's called the Shirley Temple.

Step 1: Shirley Needs.....

1- Ginger Ale Soda.
2- Lemon-Lime Soda: 7UP, Sprite, etc. Third party sodas work well too!
3- Maraschino Cherries.
4- Cherry Grenadine.
5- Optional: Ice.

---

Q: Why Grenadine, and not Syrup?
A: Grenadine is a strong red syrup made from red currants and pomegranates, while cherry syrup is maraschino based.

Step 2: Mixing the Drink:

1 - Add ice, and fill the glass with 3 ounces of your lemon-lime soda.
2- Add 3 ounces of Ginger Ale soda.
3- Add 1 1/2 - 2 Tablespoons of Cherry Grenadine.
4- Top it off with a Maraschino Cherry.

If the drink requires more cherry flavoring, keep adding Cherry Grenadine until you have the desired taste.

Enjoy!!
