Introduction: Shotgun Shell Coat Rack

If you need a great gift idea this is the way to do it If you have extra shotgun shells laying around why not put them to good use this is a very easy instructable all you need is shotgun shells wood and hot glue

Step 1:

First you will need some wood it doesn't really matter what wood just make sure it isn't to thick mark out a rectangle that is 2ft 2 inches long and 5 and 1/4 of an inch tall

Step 2:

You will need 17 yellow and 17 red shotgun shells for the top start hot gluing them on with the pattern of red yellow up down

Step 3:

Then after your done with the top glue 3 more red and 2 more yellow

Step 4:

Then glue 11 more on but leave a small gap between the 5 you just glued on

Step 5:

Glue 11 more and leave a small gap between the 11 you just glued on

Step 6:

Then glue the finishing 5 on with another gap and cut out 3 small little pieces of mdf with a slant at the end glue them in the gaps that you left earlier with the angled side facing up it should fit pretty well in the gaps

Step 7:

Then glue 3 black shells on the small pieces of mdf hope you enjoy the coat rack!
