Introduction: Slingshot

This is a standard wooden slingshot. Mine Shot a good 50 feet pretty hard.

Step 1: Supplies

Supplies you will need.
1. Y shaped branch
2. Duct tape
3. 2 thick rubber bands
4. 2 small rubber bands

Step 2: Get a Branch

Go outside and cut off a Y shaped tree branch so that the two brances of the Y are about 3 to 4 inches apart, and that the whole thing 10 inches long.

Step 3: Make the Shot Cradle

Now, get some duct tape and depending on the size of your branch make the shot cradle. Layer the piece multiple times. Then cut two slits in the side where your thick rubber bands will go. Look at the picture.

Next, loop the thick rubber bands in the slits. Put one whole rubber band in the slit half way and loop one end inside the other and pull. Look at the picture if you don't get it.

Step 4: Tie It Up

Finally, put the cradle on the Y and we are almost done. Get the small rubber bands and loop them under the big ones and twist them both around the top. Sorry if that is confusing but it's hard to explain. Look at the (blurry, sorry) picture for some help. All this does is keep the big rubber bands and shot cradle from flying off, so there are many ways of doing this.

Step 5: Finish It Up

And now your pretty much done. You can also put a duct tape, hockey tape, or leather grip on it.
