I'll be showing you an Instructable on how to make a super quick cheap secret compartment featured in Breaking Bad, where Walter White kept his ricin, a dangerous poison.

Step 1: Buy a Empty Circut Box OR Find a Cable Jack in Your House

These boxes can be bought for around 3 dollars at most hardware stores. The box will be the body of the "safe"

Also, if you don't want to spend the money or cut holes in your walls, look for a cable jack. It is hollow and the cable is protected, and you most likely are not using it anyways.

Step 2: Buy a Matching Outlet Cover

Buy a plain outlet cover to put over your compartment. Very cheap, and chances are you might have one laying around.

Step 3: Find a Place to Put Your Safe

Find an empty wall where you can cut into to make your secret compartment. Be careful of studs, wiring, and plumbing.

Step 4: Measure the Height of the Other Outlets

Make sure its at the same height as your other outlets, this will help it blend in.

Step 5: Cut Into Wall

Now you want to cut into the wall. I suggest placing an envelope to catch the sheetrock, it will help a lot with clean up.

Step 6: Install Circuit Box

Now just simply pop in the box and twist the screws.

Step 7: Fill It With Goodies

Load your new secret compartment with loads of goodies!

Step 8: For Added Covertness...

You may want to drag furniture over the circuit box to better hide it.

You could even add the plugs to make it look more legitimate. Just buy the plug and the casing, and install it just as easily.
