Introduction: The Porta-Pault Water Baloon Launcher!

About: The top of my roof ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't think that this is a good idea. Come on! What could go wrong? I mean, you've got a pa…

This is the catapault that launches water balloons 120 feet, folds up for easy travel, and was under $5! All in one sleek package!

Step 1: Materials

The materials for this consistsof:
3 8 foot wooden boards 3/4 inch thick by 1 1/2 inch wide
# feet of latex tubing (or a full pack of rubber bands(latex tubing is way better though))
A roll of plain cotton string
A roll of Duct tape
A baloon
3 smaller nails

Tools:
A hammer
An awl
A pocket knife
Siscors

Step 2: The Frame

Put the poards in a tipi formation, and duct tape the top together.

Step 3: Making the Pouch

Blow up a baloon to about 3X the size of a golf ball. Cover the baloon in 2 or 3 layers of duct tape. pop the baloon and cut the pouch in half. With the lower half, cover the inside sticky part in 1 layer of duct tape. cut a small hole in the top, bottom right and bottom left. We'll use this pouch later.

Step 4:

cut the latex tubing into (3) one foot incriments. Punch a hole in one end. Take a good amount of string, and tie it ti the pouch, and use an awl to push it through tyhe hole in the tubing. do this for all three sections.

Step 5: Nailing It Together

See picture

Step 6:

Fill a water baloon up to the size of a golfball, put it in the pouch. IT MUST BE THE SIZE OF A GOLF BALL, MUCH BIGGER AND IT WILL WOBBLE IN FLIGHT AND FALL RIGHT TO THE GROUND! grip the entire thing in your hand, and pull it back as far as it will go.

Step 7:

The baloon will go about 120 feet, or farther depending on how far you pull it back.

Step 8:

Well, now you have your own catapault that will lainch just about anything that will fit in the pouch, I don't want to be that guy, But i do need to remind you to be safe with it. Dont shoot at other people, animals, or property that isnt yours.

P.S: It folds flat for travel.

Step 9:

You can also spray paint it any way you want! I put on black, white dots, an olive drab dots to make it look a little more awesome.
