Hello, sorry for not being active on instructables, I was just out of ideas, but now i'm back with way more.I wasn't gonna quit, I was on every day, I was just coming up with ideas. Today I am going to teach you a simple, edible and safe slime using only two simple ingredients. You will need to use a microwave for this slime.

Step 1: Ingredients

  • 1 packet of fruit snacks or gummy candy- Try to use new ones that are not expired, because mine were from 2014 and the slime was kinda hard.
  • Corn starch
  • A microwave'
  • Microwave safe bowl
  • A thing to stir with
  • Food coloring- Optional

Step 2: Microwave

So first, you will need to take your candy/fruit snacks and put them in a bowl that is safe to microwave. After you have done that, you will need to put your fruit snacks into the microwave for 15 seconds, then you take them out, give them a stir and put them back in for 15 seconds Then let it cool down for about 5-7 minutes.

Step 3: Corn Starch

After you have cooled your melted fruit snacks down, take out some corn starch and mix it into the melted fruit snacks, keep doing that until it turns kinda solid. This requires a lot of cornstarch. Stop when it looks like what it looks in the picture. Don't worry if it turns into a kinda semi- solid paste, it will work at the end

Step 4: Kneading

Now, this is going to be a messy part. So wait until the slime paste thing fully cools down. After that put some cornstarch on you hands and take some of the slime and start kneading it with your hands until it becomes a solid. If it does not become a solid and way more corn starch.

Step 5: Preservation

So this slime can we kept in a container or ziplock, If it dries up, you simply have to put it into a microwave safe bowl and heat it up for 15 seconds. Sometimes it gets a bit sticky so don't put it on carpet, and clothes, if it gets too sticky just put corn starch

Step 6: Results

In my opinion, this is a really simple and cool slime and I really like it. These are some of the pictures of the slime, it is stretchy and really fun to play with. It is safe for children.
