90 degree turn of a line follower robot

i want a line follower to follow this track and when it comes back to the start point i want it to take the path of the starting point again not the forward path and so on . ONLY BY USING LOGIC GATES ( no micro-controller, Arduino..etc )

So count corners, using counter ICs

could you explain more, please ?

You know when you execute a corner ? You hit the first corner, you count ONE, you hit the next you count TWO, you hit the next THREE. You hit corner four, you count FOUR and NOW you lock off the turning circuit.
