ANYONE CAN HELP ME OUT TO MAKE A AUTONOMOUS OBJECT PICKER....?

I M WORKING ON A ROBOT WHICH FOLLOWS A SPECIFIC PATH (LIKE LINE FOLLOWER ROBOT) AND IF ANY OBJECT  OBSTRACAL IS BLOCKING A PATH  I MEAN IF ANY OBJECT IS ON WAY OF THT SPECIFIC PATH THAT ROBOT ALL PICK THAT OBJECT AND PUT IT OUT SIDE OF PATH ....SO PLEASE HELP ME OUT HOW TO MAKE A HAND OF THAT ROBOT WHICH CAN EASILY PICK OBJECT  PLEASE HELP ME OUT MY MAIL ADDRESS IS .... funnycool2000@yahoo.com

1.  Design and build and test a working robot that will follow the path.  There are lots of references to "path following robot" on the net.

2.  Design and build and test an add on module to recognize and obstacle.  This could be by touch sensor, light reflection/blockage, sound reflection or other methods.

3 Design and build and test the "object removal mechanism".  This could be a simple "bat" that swings and knocks the object away or a much more complicated arm with fingers that remove the object.  It will have to have a mechanism that will locate the object, secure the object then relocate the object.

PLEASE if you want to succeed at this do it one step at a time.  Unless you have lots of experience at this there is NO WAY you can design and build a successful robot in one fell swoop.

The only other interaction this fellow had with the site was that he wanted someone to tell him how to design a helicopter. Go figure.
