Any good resources on sliding table saws? ?

I haven't found any good resources on the different ways to take advantage of sliding table saws.

What kind of sleds to build (to work with and not against the slide), what is the safest way to do different cuts compared to a regular table saw, etc...

Thanks!

Some answers to your questions can be found in the Miters Lesson, as it discusses how and why to cut without a fence.

For table saw sleds, I made a follow-up Instructable on making your own table saw sled which shows you also how to use it.

I hope that answers your question.

Thanks for your time.

The answer is however still a generic table saw answer. I am curious more about sleds and usages _specifically_ taking advantage of the sliding saw. For one, some sort of semi sliding sled or something... maybe it does not exist. Also, most sliding saws I've seen only have one track, which, while functional, is not as great for a traditional sled. Cheers!
