Anybody know what i can do to fix my ipod?

My brand new ipod touch 4th gen will not sync correctly, the music will not play, and I cannot use the apps that do get put on, because they have a loading bar on them that says "waiting". Anybody know what I can do to fix this? The music shows up, and if I try to play it, it says that it is playing, but nothing happens. Help!!!

If it is brand new and this doesnt fix it, go to apple store

Method 1: Hard rest. While thew ipod is on hold power and home button for 10 sec (or until it blacks out and apple logo shows up). If that doesnt fix it...

Method 2: Restore via iTunes. Go to itunes, plug in your ipod and on the main ipod page click restore (this will erase all content on ipod, so you will have to re-sync your ipod with apps and such)

but with all your problems I recommend returning it.

Check what version of iOS it is runung though... kinda curious to see if it is a beta that got out of factory or just bugs :) i can hope

Go to settings>general>about to see version (should be 4.3 something or 5.0)

Definitely return it to your closest Apple store.

There's a very simple solution. RETURN IT! If its brand new, and doesn't work, return it.
