Arduino Upgrade?

I have an Arduino, and I want to upgrade to a better microcontroller, any suggestions?

Try the Mbed, which is an ARM based card. The footprint isn't the same as an Arduino, but it is vastly more powerful out of the box, with USB, Ethernet, SPI I2C and serial interfaces on board.

Unless you define "better" more precisely, this is sorta hard to answer. The Arduino does quite well on all those axes.
