When installing the blade which direction should the blade teeth be facing? Does it matter? Is there some indication when installing whcih direction the blade should go?

Blades will have the rotation direction printed directly on them. The reply from grmadden with the annotated image does an excellent job clarifying.
The teeth on a blade need to bite in to the material that you are intending to cut.
I annotated the image from Lesson three to help. The green arrow shows direction of rotation and the orange arrow indicates the direction you would push the material (timber) toward the saw blade.
