Blocking websites? On a Mac? Anybody?

I want to block some websites on a Mac. We use Firefox 3, on Mac OS X 10.5. Any suggestions?

If you only have a handful of websites to block, just redirect them using the hosts file. Basically you just tell your computer to go to the IP you've specified (usually loopback)

Here's an Apple knowledgebase article on how to edit the hosts file. The end result will look like this: localhost

Maybe this add-on for Firefox?

I don't have a Mac, so not much help there; and Firefox uses the windows host file to block websites on a PC.
