Can I take an engine off of a razor e300 scooter, and a 3 speed store bought box fan and combine the two for a ++ motor?

Can I take an engine off of a razor e300 scooter, and a 3 speed store bought box fan and combine the two for a ++ motor? I am wondering if I can supercharge the e300 engine with a box fan motor, or is there anything I can do to supercharge the e300 motor. I am seeing if I can take the engine and battery off of the e300 scooter, and putting it on a pedal bike, and making a hybrid. Thanks!

To get more power out of the motor you need to put more power in - Volts and amps.

HOWEVER this will generate heat, too much heat and the motor will burn out.

Electric motors are designed to provide a certain power for a given voltage and amperage range. You scooter motor will be about 100 watts. So look on Ebay for a bigger motor you can still fit into your scooter.

good luck.

If you think the speed control off the box fan will improve the motor off the scooter then it wont. The box fan is using an AC motor and the scooter is DC. The scooter motor is more powerful anyway. Nothing you can do to get more speed out of it. If you try to put more voltage through the motor you'll only burn it out. The added weight of the bike would only bog the motor down even more.
