Can I use 3.7v Li-Ion phone battery instead of 2 AA battery in remote toy car?

Yes I have the same question. I want to use spare 3.7v Li-Ion phone battery instead of 2 AA battery in my son's remote toy car. Is it possible then how to wire? so that directly use phone battery instead AA battery in that toy. Thanks

Toy cars are junk electronics made by thousands in Asia, where they test to see if they work on 3 VDC and those that pass are put in the toy car and sold to children.

The failed units go into really cheep (low cost) single battery 1.5 vdc cars...

This kind of production strategy means there are some electronics that will work on 6VDC...

What I am saying is there is a very good chance that your toy car will run on 3.7 VDC.

Just connect +battery to +toy and - to -..... Expect it to run faster !
