Can anyone help with 13 year old girlfriend Christmas gift??

I want to get my girlfriend a really, really nice, meaningfull gift for christmas to show that I like her alot. I am stuck and need any good ideas from anyone, but girls help from around the same age would be great! I was thinking a really nice ring, but she isn't much into the glamour, jewelry sort of stuff. A ring she would like is a great idea, not to big and 'Out There'. Any ideas??

There was an ible on making little boxes out of soda cans not too long ago. The fact that you made it would mean a lot. Most girls like pretty small containers to put treasures in. If the first one doesn't turn out the way you want it for your girlfriend, your mom would probably be thrilled to have it. If the metal working isn't practical, craft stores carry blank wooden and paper boxes in all shapes and sizes that can be decorated. Woodburning a simple design on a wood box would be nice. People at the store can help you and will probably know what is popular with her age group. You might think about it for Valentines or birthday if you don't have time now.

you should get her a card and maybe if you want that ring. But if not a ring get her something about her personality like something to do with her favourite band(music). Or see what clothes she likes to wear or perfume that she would like. Good luck i hope this is helpful.

Hey.
Today I was looking at some really nice rings and check out the one I bought her! Do you think she'll like it? (Of course no-one even knows what she does, or doesn't like!) anyway, yeah. Thanks Mole1 for the great box idea, I'll make it for the ring!

Waiting till the 20th to get her a gift was not the best of plans :p

Odds are you know her better than we do and I'm not a 13 year old girl but I will do my best to help. I've got two ideas:
1. Go with your gut; get a ring that is nice but not too blingy. Try something like a Celtic knot ring for example.
2. Talk to her best friend; Odds are that her best friend will be more than willing to help you choose and buy something (as long as you and her best friend get along of course).

The earrings I made for my wife got a lot of complementary comments from her teenage pupils. Once you've got the materials, they only take ten minutes to make.

Unfortunately, she doesn't have her ears peirced.
You can buy clips from craft stores, and use those instead of the hooks.

Ow, ok. But just yesterday I saw this really nice silver ring with a butterfly on it (Not to expensive, $15 I think) and think that would look cool.

She DOES NOT LIKE JUSTIN BIEBER. hehehe...Who does??
(I hope you do not take any offence to this comment, I just couldn't help myself)
Wow... a 13 yr old girl who doesn't like justin bieber???? That's unheard of!

SERIOUSLY??? It is either "I hate Justin Bieber" and "Ow, please don't talk about him!". I think it's hidding the fact that she loves him all over and she won't tell me, or some girls are already like that anyway... But seriously, she has NO Justin Bieber songs on her Ipod, I'm serious.
I'm sure it's genuine. :) Most girls that I know that are around that age really like him, but then again, I don't know a ton of girls that are that age.

Make her a hand carved wooden ring, or something with whittling. Hopefully you are allowed to use cutting tools.
