Can i connect an analog TV antenna to a USB wifi adapter that has an external antenna?

Replacing the external antenna of this http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/details/?model=TL-WN722N,
to the coaxial cable that comes directly from my tv antenna?

If you want to improve point to point look into building a pringles can antenna or a wock antenna. Here is a USB WiFi Adapter dish i made about 5 years ago.

Hard to say what kind of signal it would pick up but it will not damage anything if you try. We used to hook big Omni antennas to the same type of adapter but those antenna's were made for wireless and not TV. We did get extended range out of them. We could pick up signal from a long distance but we could not send back to the source since the adapter has very limited power.
