Can this microcontroller be used for ARDUINO ???

Hi ... can this microcontroller uk.farnell.com/atmel/atmega328p-mu/mcu-8bit-avr-32k-flash-32qfn/dp/1748522 be used to create "ARDUINO" ??? There seems to be a small difference in the pins in compare to uk.farnell.com/atmel/atmega328p-pu/mcu-8bit-avr-32k-flash-28pdip/dp/1715487  - that's what's making me confused.

Thank you in advance for your answers.

The atmega328p(first chip) is included in the arduino duemilanove.
Unless you are a VERY good solderer, go for the PDIP version ! The first chip is extreeeeeemely small.

+1 and remember that if you buy that chip it won't come with the bootloader, you'll need to add it yourself.
Not had any luck with the Arduino bootloader on a minimalist ATmega 328 board I built. Runs Arduino code, but only if I flash it with the .hex file via my programmer. Must be a fuse setting, but I haven't had time to fiddle with it.
