Coin Acceptor Pulse to Android App via Bluetooth Module?

Good Day,

I'm new in Android and Arduino Programming.

Does anyone here have an Idea how to send coinslot pulse to android app via bluetooth.

The Coinslot is connected to an Arduino with Bluetooth module. and will send pulses to android app if coin is accepted.

any help will be greatly appreciated. much better if with example codes. Its for school project.

godbless.

Your wording is confusing me. Is the slot connected to the Arduino via
Bluetooth or is it connected to an Arduino that has Bluetooth?

If
all you need is a simple ping there are plenty of simple free ways to
do it. Check out the MIT App Inventor (the name may changed but that
should get you there with google). I did something similar HERE.

Thanks for the response.

Here's the list of my devices.

1. Arduino Clone
2. Bluetooth Module ( connected to the microcontroller )
3. Coin Acceptor ( connected to arduino )
4. Android Device

What I want to do:

I want to count the amount being inserted to the slot. This is for my school project. Thank you so much!

What do you anticipate sending ? How do you think you can handle security ? You wouldn't want someone to spoof funds would you.

Coin slot machine will send high pulses to the arduino then it will send a signal to the android. I believe it wouldn't be spoofed since the bluetooth connection cannot be interrupted between the devices.
Not true, VERY not true.
Take a look at this article - even the big boys get it wrong
