Cutting PVC?

I wanted to add one more way to cut PVC...with a copper pipe cutter. Use it exactly the same as you would copper. It can create a small V indentation that ends up being a small lip, but it's nothing a quick hit with sandpaper won't solve. It's a much better cut than with a saw and it will be a nice perpendicular cut.

I could never get it to cut straight enough - share your technique in an Instructable and I'll link to it from this class! :D

I agree and do it all the time for Halloween as well as Christmas props!

Also I found when using the pipe cutter, it works best when you ONLY snug the cutting blade up to the PVC, go fully around a few times and then tighten, YES just like as if you were cutting copper. But once you get a good round cut going you can go deep much faster.
