Defeating Metal Detectors at Concerts?
I plan to bring a camera to the future concerts of a singer. I believe fans have a right to do so.
The camera will be hidden from sight, but I need a way to shield it from any metal detectors that may be used.
Using a metal detector designed for coins, I found that steel wool can hide steel items from the detector in ferrous mode. But switching the detector to non-ferrous mode quickly reveals the steel wool. I have found no other material that has any desired effect.
Perhaps I could carry something that transmits a jamming signal to the detector.
Has anyone here had experience working on this problem and can offer a solution?
