Does any one live Texas out there

I am asking because i want to buy some land from cheap land.com. i need to know if the land is any good. i also want relocate to Texas. I have been looking on the internet for a job. I have a class B driving license with the s endorsement. and would like to leave Miami and start over new.

Well, I live in Texas and we've got lots of really good land and we've got some that's not quite so good.

Where are you talking about exactly?

I would suggest that you-

1.  Visit the land before you buy,
2.  Enlist the services of a qualified farm/ranch agent,

Before you buy.

You may be able to find the perfect land but not notice that it's 10 miles from power, water etc.

Lets hear more.

Now that I've looked at a few of these site, $1,000 per acre for 10 acres of rocks and scrub Mesquite seems kinda high to me for land way out in far West Texas.   There is not much going on in that part of Texas.  It takes a lot of land to support one horse or cow.

For the same $10,000 you should be able to get 2-3 acres of good fertile land that's only 30-45 min's away from Dallas/Fort Worth where there are still jobs available.  It's still pretty active in North Central Texas and you'd have a better chance of making a go at it there.

Do lots of research and talk to some local people before you contract to buy ANYWHERE!

Thanks for the device and i am going to keep looking the land that i was looking at is in104.16 Acres of Land About 24 Miles Southeast of Fort Hancock

You'll get more responses if you post this question in the forums.

It would help if you said in that post:

• why you want to move to Texas
• which part of Texas you are looking at
• what you want to do with the land (farming / building / strip mining etc)

I make deserts for a living and need affordable space to build small kitchen. Maybe do a little farming at least learn how. make some cheeses or some thing hire me a few people. do my own thing and stop wasting my money here in Miami. Need a change
