Does anyone know where I can find "No-Sew Barbie Doll Clothes Patterns"?

When I was a girl, in the 1970's, my Mom found a series of patterns for making Barbie clothes that didn't require sewing. Now I have several little girls around who want lots of Barbie clothes but they can't afford the prices. It would mean a lot to me if I could find these patterns to help them make their own clothes.

As I recall there were dresses, pants, tops, etc. The clothing was tied on in various ways and the items were just cut out and ready for Barbie to wear. If you happen to know where I can find these patterns, please let me know as soon as possible.

I would also be interested in really simple patterns for Barbie clothes. It needs to be something that a young girl can make with little or no adult assistance.

We even had a brithday party making cloths. It was a big hit.

Not only do I want to have these for some friends of mine but I'm also working with an area hospital to provide craft projects to bedridden patients and their children. I never heard of no-sew patterns. Didn't know this could exist. But I agree on the fact that doll clothes are out of price for little girls. So I sew the doll clothes myself. I do not have tons of material but I keep any little piece of ribbon or fabric and I recycle old clothes that cannot be given to charity. I also look on the web for free patterns or "how to". i found a great web site you can try on if you want: www.joliebarbie.com I found it really great and I think that even little girls can try to follow the instructions and sew their own dress. Hope it helped!

These are probably appropriate for most girls over the age of 3 (with a bit of assistance, I could see my little sis doing some of these), and I can probably find more if you need them (google rocks!). But this should get you going. I would suggest, though, investing in a bottle of fabric glue or instant hem tape.
