Flash Powder Smoke Bomb?

I was wondering, since flash powder makes a flash and lots of smoke, maybe you could make a smoke bomb. I know that sodium bicarbonate or baking soda slows down reaction time, and also produces smoke, then cant you mix the two and make a smoke bomb? I cant find my bag of flash powder right now so im asking this question. Thanks, me.

well, first off all i don't recommend it, because flash is just like, powerful. I haven't made any yet, but I bought some m 80's (here the are called nitraten, Holland ya know ;)) and they where loud...
you could try to slow the reaction. try sodium bicarbonate, and test a small amount. also, try a less extreme oxidizer. for example,  if you are using kclo3 or kmno4, use kno3. also, when you are using aluminum or magnesium, try a lower mesh, this also slows your composition.

do little tests first, use weak containers (like small, thin walled paper rolls) and you will be fine!
