GAS DRYER WON'T SHUT OFF!

I HAD TO REPLACE INGNITER.AND WHILE CHECKING CONTINUITY I THINK I MIGHT HAVE SWITCHED UP SOME WIRES BECAUSE NOW IT DOESN'T SHUT OFF. I REPLACED TIMER BUT STILL WONT SHUT OFF. ( MAYTAG SDG505DAWW)

Of course we do, and we know how to repair them too....

Of course it has a plug. The gas only runs the burner. Electricity runs the drum, timer, gas valve etc. There will be a gas shutoff where it connects to the gas line at the wall. Close that. Don't disconnect any hoses.
oh yeah......
Quickest response ever.....
disconnect any hoses of any kind going from the dryer to the wall

Unplug it. L
Look at it logically. Is it still running completely ? Is only the burner lit ? Is it just turning ?

Hard to diagnose except by going through the whole thing with a wiring diagram and a continuity meter...
