As I said here:

Most flash animations and flash games have an anti pirate function, which only allows the flash object to be played on their server.

The only way is to buy a copy from the game's creator so you can put it on your games website. You will also have to give them the name of your server (eg, so that that specific game you bought can only be played on your games website. Every game website with that game will have their own version that only works on their server.

Hope that helped you!

Maybe you would have fewer restrictions if you were running Linux off your personal flash drive? (I suggest Puppy, but you may find others that are equally small and easy.) Then you could update Javascript, Flash, and whatever else you wanted.

Even easier is installing Portable Firefox on your flash drive. The only catch is that if you are under heavy restrictions, you may need to use another computer actually install it.

My Dad would kill me if I was running portable linux off my usb or cd because I have been caught hacking using linux before...

And I don't have the internet all of the time (because my dad monitors the internet connection and can shut it off whenever he pleases)

]This game probably has some sort of anticopy measure built into it.

Try getting it from a different site?

Not working. They got it from addicting games
Hmmmm... Wait...

How are you getting this file to work offline? Are you doing it via your instructable?
Also, what kind of computer do you have?

I'll pretend that I didn't see that other comment. Yeah I am doing by my instructable, but after I have converted it, it opens up and says: You can play this game at I am trying to get it to work offline because I don't always have the internet
What you are looking for is called a SWF decompiler. You need to grab all the files, take it apart, remove the references to Addicting Games, and then recompile it.

Another option is to set up a server on your own computer with the appropriate files, then edit your Windows HOSTS file so that any program asking for is pointed back to your own computer. Of course, if you then allow other people to access this game on your server, you would probably be violating the terms of service the game.
where is the reference to addicting games i cant find it
I haven't decompiled the game myself. I just assumed that if it says "You can play this game at" when you try to start it up, this phrase must be triggered by some piece of code in the Flash file. I thought that you might be able to remove the trigger without actually knowing how to program Flash. But try the suggestions of getting new browser, getting new OS, and the local server trick, before trying this idea.

I don't understand it. Could you do it? I will be so grateful if you do! Please, Please, Please!!!!! The references bit is ok. It doesn't display the game, it just says that you can play it at addicting games...
I think you need to get some more detailed advice on doing this yourself. I'm fairly sure that the author would not approve of anyone passing around hacked versions of his/her program.

Why not ask on Answers how to set up a local server and copy the directory structure of the game site?
I haven't used it myself, but Apache is one popular type of server software. You can download and run the Win32 binary installer, telling it "localhost" is the same of the domain and server.

Once this is in place, you can add an entry to your Hosts file so that any requests for are redirected towards your own computer. You might have the entries: localhost

The problem is, is that I am running on a restricted account and I cannot touch the hosts file. Maybe you could download it from They are guaranteed not to have protection on it. I can't download it because I don't have the latest javascript and flash player even though I can play new flash games without trouble
