How can I make a cast of my entire body?

I have been searching Jello molds, and I have seen hands, faces, breast, "chocolate breast", how ever I want to do my entire body. how could I do this and if so, how much would it cost ? ( not in chocolate )

TAKE GREAT CARE with casting body parts in plaster. Every year someone mixes a bucket of plaster - puts their hands/feet etc into it and when it sets realises they can't get them out.

Plaster gets HOT as it sets burns and the loss of fingers and body parts isn't unusual.

BE CAREFUL

Alginate is a better material for casting body parts.

Be sure to do a full body wax right before you do this. Perhaps alot of liquid laytex would do it(as long as you aren't allergic to it or whoever will be eating the jello isn't allergic)if that doesn't work, fill the laytex mold with plaster and then make a vacu-form of the plaster cast. Have fun and stay safe.

Good point. Shave, at least. Having body hair caught in the casting material is Not Fun.

A second and rather old method springs to mind.

Wear some tight fitting clothes you can destroy.
Cover the whole body with brown parcel tape - the kind with the water wettable glue you used to lick. Do several layers until you have a body shape you can cut rund the edge to release the body leaving a mould.

This might work with masking tape as well or even LOTS of sellotape.

I like that first paragraph.  That's exactly what my first thoughts were.

How: The same way as the others you've cited. Doing it in pieces would probably be your best bet. You will almost certainly need assistance from one or two other people.

How much: Look at the costs for those projects and scale up. Add some reasonable percentage for experimentation and errors.
