How could I make a sushi train?
For school, I need to pretend to be a party planner and plan a party for 8 year old boys. The theme that I chose was cars and vehicles, so my classmate came up with the idea of using a sushi train like thing to transport cupcakes around the table. Is there any way to make one? It doesn't have to be an actual sushi train. It could just be a conveyor belt, or a train set modified. But what I really want to know is the cost. Thankyou in advance! =D

Actually a model train with saucers attached to the cars may be your best bet. It would probably be much cheaper than buying/building a real revolving sushi bar. Don't buy it a piece at a time, scour ebay/craigslist/etc. for people selling sets if you want it to be the cheapest possible.
One of my favorite sushi places (Takahashi Sushi - Portland, Oregon) does exactly this. Two model train engines, and a whole boatload of flatbed cars with little sushi plates on them. You just snag the plate off the car as it goes by.
