How could I use an ordinary shopvac to connect up by my drill bit to clean up sawdust and metal shaving it creates?

maybe a couple stiff wire coat hangers could hold the nozzel and then attach it do your drill press table,  or to your hand drill.   ORRRRR have a child and train him to hold a vacuum ( you can also train him to hold a flashlight.   I was a very good flashlight holder when I was a child)

Watch out for metal shavings and don't use this on a grinder.  The metal gets hot enough to start a fire inside your vacuum.
