How do I clean my Vibe's trigger?

I've got all this paint and gunk right in the nooks and crannies of the trigger and the frame, and the only way to clean it properley would be to remove the trigger. I haven't been able to find anything on this, and I don't want to experiment.

I think you pretty much said it. the best way would probably be to break it down, clean the affected parts, and re-assemble.

In lieu of that, you may be able to pick the bulk out using  an Xacto or a teeth cleaning tool, dry compressed air, and maybe a toothbrush or similar.

If all of the parts are metal, then you could always use a solvent to assist.

My advise...break it down and clean. You can also use sewing needles to gain access to tight spaces.

What kind of paint?

So it's water soluble, right?...hmm...break it down, use a tootbrush and warm water, and have a dry towel and a hot air gun (hair drier is fine) to promptly dry any metallic parts. If the metal parts have cavities that resist removal of water, you can always toss them in a 200 degree oven ("Warm" setting)  to dry them thoroughly.
