How do I get past an OpenDNS blocker (that blocks proxies) without admin privileges?

For PC with Vista.
For some reason my gaming sites are blocked... sigh...
I don't have admin privileges so I have to work around downloads and I want to get rid of/change an OpenDNS blocker.

All you have to do is change your DNS server. Google it if you don't know how.

PEOPLE go ro softtonic.com download Desmume then download pokemon or any roms using softonic. But go to your router setting in control panel and change the IP address.

I know exactly how you feel. My dad blocked all gaming sites with OpenDNS. I know that I'm not allowed to, but still. If you aren't allowed to do something, you want to do it. I think that it would help if people weren't talking like my dad and saying that if it were beneficial then I'd be allowed to do it. I can't ask my dad to whitelist gaming sites because he'd decline and then lecture me about the evil of gaming. I do my homework. Then I sit around the rest of the day because my dad has blocked every gaming site and we have nothing entertaining around the house. So, please, someone give a comment that answers the question.

You're at school to learn (or at work to, er, work).
Right! If you have a legitimate reason to be on a gaming site, then your admin would be happy to add it to your allowed sites.

Can you use this?

Or not use domain names? Look up the IP of the website you want to use from home, then enter it where you're restricted. Since you're not looking up a restricted domain, it may not block you. Maybe.

Ask your system administrator to whitelist the site.
