too many emails congest my inbox, and Instructibles leads the way. I do not mind being a part of the community, but the email link to unsubscribe leads to nowhere, in any of the emails I test out. If you provide a link, make sure it works.
If you mean the regular newsletter, there's an "unsubscribe" button in the email.
If you mean the site itself, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org (make sure you send that email from the same address you used to create the account).
The reply won't be instant (it's monitored by humans), but it will happen.
I am very curious, though, as to *why* you would want to leave? Membership costs you nothing, generates no spam, and you have access to thousands of projects and contests with very real cash values.
Why would you want to leave? What ever did we do to you to make you want to quit?
You don't need to unsubscribe, just don't ever come back to visit. You will not get notices of being inactive if you haven't been visiting for a while.
didn't you read the fine print? you have to sacrifice your tools to the robot god
or look at the bottom
Probably not the intended way, but if nothing else works, just change the email address to an email that doesn't exist. Like email@example.com . This is safe since example.com is especially reserved for examples and tests etc. There will never be a working email address.
