How do you get dry paint out of berber carpet?

If latex, yes. If oil, perhaps

For latex, try to remove as much as possible mechanically, then use Goo-Gone to dissolve the paint and wick it out of the carpet using paper towels. it would be best to do it in stages. I've made the mistake of getting impatient before and then have had a twofold probvlem of a larger stain and the lingering stink of the solvent.

the same basic method for oil based paint, expect that turpentine or paint thinner  will need to be used. Best in this case to test a very small area first to make sure the berber isn't dissolvable by turp/paint thinner.
