How do you run a servo and a dc motor with arduino and the arduino motor shield d3?

im making a robot and i need to run a dc motor with the arduino motor sheild and a servo through it also. i would like a code to get me started. this is the dc motor part of the code but the servo part i do not know of. And i dont know how to combine them into one code
