How many capacitors of 3.15 uF will it take to run a 250 volts magnetic coil in coil gun?

I am Making a Coil Gun in which i have 4 Capacitors of 3.15uF to run a magnetic coil of 250 volts so i am asking how many capacitors of 3.15 uF will it take to run a magnetic coil of 250 volts

well, since the coil is 250v and you have capacitors already judging by that very specific value, ide hade to say about 300-500 3.15uF capacitors.

at 250v or more you want over 800uF dumped into the coil to do anything good with it. keep in mind that 300v 900uF will lodge a metal axel 1-2cm into an apple at almost point blank range. 250v would be roughly the same. If you wanna shoot ball bearings through cardboard at a meters distance, on 250v i recomend 1500uF or higher. if you will find getting large amounts of power a problem, use neodymium balls for ammunition, being magnetic they will respond quicker to the magnetic feild.
The coil VOLTAGE is unlikely to be a limit, unless you get insulation breakdown, so the issue is more what voltage can your caps handle ?
